Gift cards conditions

In addition to our General Terms and Conditions, we have also drawn up a conditions page for our gift cards that apply to gift cards purchased in the Dresses Boutique store or in the online webshops dressesboutique.nl, dressesboutique.com or dressesboutique.de (hereinafter jointly: "Dresses Boutique") issued gift cards. By using a Dresses Boutique gift card you accept these gift card conditions and you undertake to comply with them. 

1. These conditions apply to all Gift cards issued by Dresses Boutique (both electronic and printed gift cards and paper gift cards) (hereinafter jointly: “Gift cards”) sold by Dresses Boutique.

2. You can hand in the gift card by choosing to pay with gift card during your checkout process after adding items to your shopping cart. You will then have to enter the unique code and the value of the gift card will be processed.

3. Each gift card is valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. After the expiry date, 3 years later from the date of purchase, the gift card can no longer be used.

4. Gift cards or residual value cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. The residual value of the gift card can be used for subsequent orders in the Dresses Boutique store or in the webshop. This value is visible in the user's account or can be requested in the boutique. The residual value is not transferable and can only be used from the same account where the first use of the Gift card took place and during the period of validity of the Gift card. 

6. If the total amount of the order is higher than the value of the Gift card (s) used, the difference must be paid with one of the other payment methods: 
- Cash
- Card
- Credit card

7. When returning a purchase paid with a Gift card, a new Gift card with the same value will be returned.

8. It is not allowed to change, falsify, undermine or otherwise affect Gift cards or the operation thereof (including hacking). Every (attempted) fraud or other unauthorized action is registered and results in the use of Gift cards being denied and we will report this to the police.

9. Dresses Boutique can adjust these Gift card conditions at any time. We therefore recommend that you read the Gift card conditions before making a purchase. If you make a purchase with your Gift card after entering into any new Gift card conditions, you automatically agree to the amended Gift card conditions.

10. You can submit an unlimited amount of Gift cards per order or exchange a combination of a maximum of 1 discount code and an unlimited amount of Gift cards.

11. All Gift cards are provided with a unique code. This can be a number code and / or text code, or a combination of these. Each Gift card is only issued once. You must keep the Gift card (including the code) carefully. In case of theft (including the use of the code by unauthorized third parties) or loss (including the (accidental) deletion of emails), no compensation will be made! Only original Gift cards and codes can be used and should be provided to Dresses Boutique upon request. Dresses Boutique reserves the right to accept a Gift card only after receipt of the original Gift card (in case of electronic Gift card the e-mail sent by Dresses Boutique) and in case of improper use, still demand payment in cash. 

12.01 A Gift card cannot be bought with a Gift card. 
12.02 Any discounts do not apply when purchasing a Gift card.
